I can't believe anyone seriously liked this!
I have to say that it was terrible! Don't waste your time watching it.
shareJust goes to show that not everyone can get into low-budget/cult movies. A great film for what it is - and there are far worse things you can do than watch this movie (anything with Hugh Grant in springs to mind!) Watch this movie or spend your entire life being told what to do by apcourtney!

I do like low budget/cult movies, just not this one.
A relative of mine had a cameo role in it and he is embarrassed to admit it to anyone.
Oh well different strokes for different folks!
I just appreciate a good plot, good script and good acting.
How could anyone be embarrassed about being a cameo in this film?! Even the homosexual bank security guard was a star!

I love bizarre, oddball, low-budget movies. I'm a total horror buff, and by that I mean everything from arty avant-garde horrors to cheap slasher films and all sorts of sleazy genre schlock!
But I thought Penetration Angst was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I like low-budget weirdness but this was really painfully cheap backyard stuff, especially the hand-held video camerawork, grainy lighting and dirt-cheap video stock it was shot on.
I also enjoyed this film. Granted, it isn't going to make history, but I kind of reminded me of the short-lived TV series the Hunger by Ridley Scott. I liked the way the horror turned to comedey. I liked the way that Helen and Dennis kept missing each other on the streets. I liked the bank robbing stripper going on top of the rugged nice cop. There was tons of good stuff in this movie. I wonder what Carl Jung would have thought about it?
