Such a wonderful anime

This anime is thoroughly bashed, despite being charming and sweet.
I am also sick of these snobby people who think they have a right to bash it because they have seen all of Love Hina.

Wow!

You and every other Otaku in the world.

This may not be nearly as popular as Love Hina, but I prefer the emotion in this anime to Love Hina, Ah My Goddess, and Ai Yori Aoshi. The Mangas and novelization are wonderful additions as well as the stories in the Fan Book.

This anime deserves a lot more credit then it actually gets.

Yes and no. The manga is totally different, but not in a good way. The Fan book has some scripts and short stories that are freaking awesome as well as great pictures of advertisements, postcards, phone cards, and cover art. However, what I reccommend more then anything is the novelization. They are not really in order with the show or manga, but the alternate stories are very good. Especially the last one >.O

please friends is only available on radio drama in japan but not on manga and anime, so that's the info.

My favorite seasons on The Amazing Race are season 3, 5 and 9!

Totally agree with you zephyr! I'll prefer this series over alot of anime because usually I won't take to romantic shows live or anime but this has had a nice set of sci-fi twists that just reel you in so to speak. The characters are all genuinly adoreable (best word I could think of lol) and Mizuho...well who doesn't want to be in Kei's shoes?!! She's a little shy, especially to start with, sweet, romantic, pretty and a pleasure to watch.
Love hina from what I've seen can get tiring from the usually whacking incidents he recives regulary from the girls. This show just about puts everybody on the same level so to speak. (bossy characters are running jokes that aren't funny anymore)

I actually do like Love Hina, but I would have to say that I was only able to watch it once. This is by far my favorite.
However, I didn't like Please Twins nearly as much. The reason I wanted to see Please Twins was so I could see the previous characters again. However, the way they use them in Twins is insulting to the personalities and values that they have in Teacher.

Especially Mizuho and Matagu...

Man, that pissed me off. --

Try not to forget that Twins, although plenty dramatic, was meant to be a more lighthearted take on the whole Onegai/Please universe. I laughed like an idiot whenever Ichigo got those evil eyes.

And let's not forget that it's an anime. For we Western folk, it may be something of a Holy Grail, but to them, it's kinda like Looney Tunes. Only...not a lot of people are laughing.

Maybe Please Twins changed your life. That's cool. But, uh...what am I trying to say, here...? It's cheesecake. That's about all there is to it. Cute, fluffy cheesecake.

I thought this was great. I sat through the whole box set with my friends, and we didn't even make one step from the couch. We thought that Twins was just as great. I can't think of one thing we hate from the two shows. But I can think of plenty of things we loved with it.

OMG, the best part of the two shows is rule #6 in Twins.

My older brother got me into anime when i was 11, i'm now 13. He started off with Onegai Teacher then Love Hina then Ah my Goddess. I loved Onegai Teacher so much then i saw Love Hina and i loved that too. Didn't watch much Ah my Goddess. But i think that although Love Hina was good (and don't underestimate the funniness of Keitarou getting hit, especially whenhe's being whiney) and i loved the characters i thought Onegai Teacher was the better of the two, even though Kei's pathetic moments were beginning to annoy me.

same thing for me. my brother got me into anime and ive been an anime man since(not a huge fan to where all the cloths). i watched please teacher and thought it was amazing, i starting to watch please twins with high expectations. i havent seen love hina, can anyone tell me about it?

So awesome, it's about a male lead in a hot spring full of young girls as he tries desperately to get into Tokyo University of course as always with hilarious consquences. He's definately what you would call down trodden and if you enjoy watching male characters get beaten to a pulp by girls it's great lol

I loved Please Teacher, and I say this as someone who generally does not like anime. I watched the series on Youtube, and I almost cried at the end (dorky, I know). Anyway, I think someone else criticized Love Hina because of the male character getting hit a lot. I haven't seen Hina, but never underestimate the comic value of pain. After all, some of my best laughs in Teacher come from Minoru getting put in his place by his wife (frequently involving use of physical force).

I like videogames. I like movies. In the name of both, Uwe Boll must be stopped!

Aww I just watched this today, (all at once...yes) and I can't believe it took me so long to sit down and watch it! (I'd known about it for a while, but only committed to watching it after a friend told me I needed to see Please Twins, and I thought it'd be good to see this first)

I'm really looking forward to PT, but I'm not hoping for too much since this was so good....and I don't want to be disappointed.
