Just me or was Stephanie Leonidas's performance really under-rated?
I overall liked the movie and I think a big reason for it was Stephanie Leonidas's performance as Helena. She had no trouble at all handling really fast, witty dialogue and I thought her dramatic work was really good. I love the scene when the father's telling her not to worry about her mom's surgery, but she can tell by her dad's mannerisms that he too is worried and horrible at hiding it.
I thought the main character was really strong, charming and likable enough to overcome the meandering nature of the script.
Reading reviews, I'm disappointed at the lack of mentions of her performance.
