A plot fault

I just watched this movie and I can't help but wonder why the robber even bothered trying to reclaim just the one bag of money if (like the train robbery scene suggested) the thefts had already collected multiple bags.

Why risk getting caught just for the sake of reclaiming one bag when they had seemingly already secured some money?
