Connection to TV Shows

Has there been any discussion of the TV shows and how they relate to events in the game?

For instance in the show Lords and Ladies, the characters line up pretty much exactly with the game characters.

In the first episode Lady Amelia comes to see Lord Valentine, but then quickly runs off. This happens right after Mona comes to Max's apartment and runs off as soon as the sniper attack.

The second episode shows Lord Jack catching Valentine just as he's about to go out for a rendezvous with Amelia, and warning him about seeing her due to her connections with piracy. We see the episode while going to meet Mona at her apartment in the funhouse. Just before this Detective Winterson warned Max not to "Do anything Stupid." In the episode Jack also mentions Papa who is dying of consumption. This is perhaps a reference to Alfred Woden who is later revealed to be dying of cancer.

In the third episode we see Jack informs Mama about the affair between Valentine and Amelia, and they conspire to kill her. This is in the police station after you were caught with Mona. Later we see Winterson on the phone with whom we later discover to be Vlad informing him that Max and Mona. Later on Vlad sends Winterson to kill Max and Mona.

In the fourth episode Jack and Valentine have a duel ending in Jack's death. This is in the hospital just after Max has killed Winterson.

By the fifth episode the parallels seem a little more obscure. Valentine, now distraught over the death of his brother is confronted by Mama who attempts to poison Amelia. Valentine drinks the poison instead and dies, burning the house down in the process. This may be a reference to Max realizing that Vlad is the real enemy and his resolve to kill Vlad at any cost, including the his own life.

In the final episode we see Amelia escaping the burning house and living on. This is obviously represents the exploding Woden manor, an perhaps the Inner Circle as a whole. Interestingly it seems as if the roles of Valentine (Max) and Amelia (Mona) have been reversed, as it was Mona who saves (read: chose not to kill) Max at the cost of her own life, and it's Max who eventually learns to move on with his life (Max Payne 3 doesn't count).
