You 2 couldn't be more wrong!

By the trailer this movie looks extremely bad... But I try not to judge a film completely from it's trailer... but trailers are usually suppose to make movies look better than they actually are.

reply

Wow, I so agree. How was this movie cliche at all? At first it may seem like that, but there's really nothing about this movie that's cliche.

Try Blood Trial and see the defintion of the bad movie.

reply

I have to agree... and the dialogues were so stupid, I was laughing with my girl during the whole movie...

reply

Not exactly stupid, it felt it had a Kubrick level creepiness to it, but I have to admit, it didn't have the real grabbing effect to it.

Now if you want to see a movie that goes nowheres and does nothing, Haunted Boat.

Why is it that when a movie comes along that doesn't neon sign post exactly what happened we get people claiming it's the "stupidest movie" they have ever seen? Quite ironic when you think about it.

If you watch it again you might pick up on a) the visual clues, b) the talk of the future, c) a subtext about growing up, and the horrors involved there. Of course this would involve actually listening to the dialogue and thinking slightly outside the square, hint - the movie is not linear.

While not on the level of say Session 9, I still found this one eerie and enchanting, and thankfully a change from the conveyor belt teen movies with no attempt at adding any sort of meaning.

Agreed, it was absolutely dreadful, not worthy of a 5.2 as main score.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)

No, this is a solid indie horror flick.

Despite the mediocre acting it was very eerie and very atmospheric. They really did a great job with the soundtrack too adding the feeling of hopelessness and doom to the ambiance of the film.

It reminded me of Salvage 2006 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0492754/?ref_=sr_2 in style and premise in that you can tell they didn't have a lot of money, but they did a great job with that they had.

I have to agree with dirtydingus, this was a solid indie horror film that did the best with its budget and created a creepy, foreboding atmosphere throughout, despite some bad acting.

And I see the resemblance with Salvage, although I think its more like Salvage combined with Triangle.
