i saw the movie pitch black. very suprised how good it was for an tv-movie. but is into pitch black te same?

No they are not the same. Pitch Black was a theatrical release, not a "made for tv movie" unlike Into Pitch Black.

My understanding is Into Pitch Black was a Sci Fi channel promo for the theatrical movie.
