I thought of a plot hole (spoilers)

Hey, I think I thought of a plot hole. (Don't read if you haven't seen the movie yet, it's about the end.)

When the evil spirit is in the house, no one can get out or in, because all the doors and windows are 'sealed/locked'. When the spirit goes back to his body, and he's woken up in the hospital, because the spirit has left they can open the doors and get out.

Then the spirit comes back to the house (after the policeman shoots the professor Kapps dude in the hospital), and once again all the entrances are sealed. The door is locked.

NOW however, Nectar Rose/Delia is outside, and can't get in, and Tiffany Shepis/Marsha and the wimpy dude (sorry I don't know which name that is) are inside. So they send Delia to get the staff.

A few minutes later, Delia and the wimpy dude are righting the bad guy in the cellar, ... and then Delia suddenly surprises him by sneaking up on him with the staff.

SO, my question is ... HOW DID DELIA GET BACK INTO THE HOUSE?

Have I found a good plot hole?

(I know you dudes and dudettes might say that things don't always have to make sense, after all, why did the rat get chucked back at the end, you can make up lots of reasons ... but they gotta be consistant. Either they can't get in and out of the house, or they can. Am I right or am I wrong?)

Well, your spoiler point is valid. As the writer/director, I can explain that it was explained in the script but during production, the producer decided to skip the scene. In the original script when Delia gets the staff, she tries to pry open the front door with it and to her surprise, the eyes on the staff glow which immediately open the seals on the front door and the door violently swings open. That was the short scene that was not shot due to time issues. So, as is, Delia re-entrance into the house is not explained. Sorry. My hands were tied but at least you know I did think about it.

Spotting plot holes is for losers anyway, but the explanation you've given makes sense.

Wow, I thought you were kidding, but you really are the writer/director.

Anyway, the explanation makes sense. I was wondering how she entered the house too.

Plot Device. :)

I just assumed that the house was like a giant roach motel - You could enter freely it was getting out that the fun begins.
