What's with the obsession of pubes in this flick?

Is it cool to have them shaved or something? Is having a bush unpleasant and unhygienic?

reply

I think it's preference, and I'm pretty sure there's no real difference as far as hygiene goes. Not to sure though because I'm a guy. Any girls care to comment?

Historically shaving pubic hair was used for personal hygiene and to combat pubic lice. With modern hygiene practices being what they are I think now it's more of "fashion statement" like tramp stamps and pierced navels.

It's so common now that it was even mentioned on an episode of "Two and a Half Men" when after viewing some porn Herb asked Charlie, "What happened to all the pubic hair?"

reply

Well, it's still a lot more common for women than men, but like Kumar said "It makes my junk look bigger." It's not unusual for guys that are really hairy to trim their pubes. Some even shave their balls.

Of course! I realize this post is old, but I do trim my pubic hair and I am a guy. It just looks cleaner and I cannot make the statement that it is any better. I am also in favor of just keeping things natural (this one example kind of being hypocritical to it).

I trim my pubic hair and armpit hair, leave my back hair and chest/stomach hair.

If you are a swimmer (think Michael Phelps), they do this to look good in speedos and to be more streamlined.

THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR. COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS HERE!!!
