Ealing-esque
I saw this film this afternoon, and absolutely enjoyed it.
It reminded me of some of the great Ealing comedies of the 1940s and 50s, like 'Whisky Galore' and 'Passport to Pimlico'.
I agree completely. I thought it was as wonderful as the Ealing films which I've seen on DVD.
