OMG they're remaking it for Newfoundland

How F'in sad!!!!! That we're remaking films within our own country! I am disgusted! And by the Fubar people, yuk! It's bad enough when Hollywood does it to foreign films, but within so few years within the country, that's just shear lazyness copy-catting.

English-Canadian remakes of French-Canadian productions turned out to be disasters for the CBC. Remember Sophie, Rumours, and (cough cough) MVP?
