Stupid stupid film

Im sorry but does anybody else notice that this film seems to work on the assumption that we can all change our sexual orientation on the basis of a short conversation. Absolutely ridiculous film. And what was with bringing new characters into it half way through the film and making them main characters nad taking peripheral characters and doing the same! This film actually made my head hurt!

reply

I don't think it was the conversation that did it,I got the impression the girls gaydar told them the other girl would maybe be into it.As for characters coming in later they had to,to show the different relationsips and satire Tom's theory about people forgeting a relationship quickly and moving on to a new one straight away.

That is something people actually used to believe tom didn't make it up.

The full of words say,how I want you...How I love you.

That was a popular myth some time ago.

Anyway, later on in the movie, it's revealed that Tom's totally incorrect.

reply

i wasnt aware that its just a myth? has it been disproven?

bygones!

reply

Yes scientific studies disproved it years ago.

Scientific studies, eh? Would you like to provide some references to go along with that?

reply

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goldfish there's a reference and if you google the subject loads of articles about studies come up.
