Music question

I'd like to know where to find the version of "Waters of March" that was used at the end of the film & in the credits. I haven't been able to find any info on that particular performance.

Hi - that version of "Waters of March" was recorded specially for the movie and is on the soundtrack CD, available at www.goldfihmemory.com

reply

you should by the original version of this music, cause this one is sing by english singers and it's a little wird.

reply

Actually it is sung by Irish singers Damien Rice and Lisa Hanningan. The original version was writen by the Brazilian Tom Jobim.

check out Damien Rice- songs from this movie are not his greatest- but their is good stuff out their

reply

Lisa Hannigan sings in English, but Damien sings in Portuguese (in the same version) - Damien Rice singing in Portuguese was a delightful surprise! Very cute accent, btw.

A prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages.

Several of the dreamy Portuguese songs are covers of music from Bebel Gilberto's Tanto Tempo CD (2000). Bebel is the daughter of João Gilberto, who is credited with developing bossa nova by refining samba.
