They filmed a part of this at my old school and a couple of my friends, my sister, and i all stayed after school to play extras. They treated all of us to In n Out and there was a snack table. It was really neat. Eddie Jones(the trainer) also plays a teacher and I improved a line in one of the scenes. I talked to Eddie Jones when he was at the snack table and asked him if it was a good idea to say that line and he said it was good. I wanted to actually see this movie but it never came out in theaters. Anyone know how i can see this?

The film was released on the 6th May 2005 and is on limited release in theaters in Los Angeles,San Francisco and New York.

Thanks...but why wasnt it released in more theaters? was it just a low budget film or independent film?

Yes it was just an independent film. I also hate to break it to you, but that high school scene might have gotten cut from the final film. When I saw this film, the only high school scene I saw in it was pretty short. I think the only scene I remember seeing was a short clip of Marty reading Melville at the beginning to introduce his character. If there was more, it might have gotten cut possibly to speed up the first act of the movie. You can buy it on DVD now though if you really want to see it.

It was an independent film largely shot and cut at the Los Angeles Film School.
