This Friday 12/12 Fox is airing back to back episodes of Stan Hooper at 9 and 9:30. If you're a fan of the show make sure to watch and let Fox know. This show is too good to get shuffled around and replaced by horrible reality programming like American Idol and the Simple Life.
shareDranoDrinker, I hope yer right, because my Seattle Times TV guide lists a one-hour episode of "Boston Public" at 9PM-10PM on FOX network, Friday night, December 12th. Nothing at all that evening for a "Stan Hooper" episode, let alone two of them back to back. Not that the Seattle Times TV guide is the final word in TV programming of course.... but this must be some new programming change that just came up?? I hope yer right, cuz I want to see "Stan Hooper"!
shareEric go to Fox.com and look in the schedule section. They have Stan in an hour slot two shows back to back. Also, I e mailed Fox concerning the show and they wrote me back telling me about the programming change. Make sure to watch. Apparently, they're gonna try to see if it can get better numbers than Boston Public as Boston Public is on the fence this year. Of course it would help if Fox like advertised it. But who knows?
shareDranoDrinker, thanks for the foot-work on all that! Way to go dude! Yeah, I'll definitely be tuning in tomorrow night, in spite of what my local newspaper TV guide says. Hopefully enough people will tune in and we can collectively save the show (although, you never know with FOX... I'm still bummed about them cancelling "The Lone Gunmen" a couple of years ago, very abruptly, right in the middle of a two-part cliffhanger episode that was never resolved!! Crap!!)

Those two episodes were actually pretty good. I just about split a gut laughing at the part in the "apple pie" episode where they were in the kitchen and Stan and the minister swept the old lady's ashes under the carpet. Boy, talk about sweeping something under the carpet!!
shareThe first one wasn't as funny as I thought it was gonna be but was still very good. The second one was hilarious. Of courrse Fox is gonna cancel but screw them.
shareDranoDrinker, you should really check out a movie that Norm MacDonald was in called "Dirty Work". Silly, silly fun movie! Norm was in it and was pretty damned funny. Check it out if you haven't seen it.
sharei actually saw it in the theater the night it came it out in 1998. I just bought it on TV. Norm's acting is so bad its brilliant. I love this guy. I gotta get my hands on a copy of some of the Norm shows. I started taping them but lost the tape in a move. I watched the two episodes from Friday and the crime episode grew on me. I thought they were both hilarious. I'd like to move to Waterford Falls.
