inapropriate

me and my mom and sister love the first and some of the second seeason. and then it went down hill! it was inapropriate for my age. it should have been more family oriented.

reply

What was inappropriate about it, exactly? I didn't notice much of a change.

reply

it wasn't too funny anymore, it had more sexually humor in it. (at least in the latest season of it) that's when we stopped watching it.

reply

Oh right. I suppose since Sydney was getting older they needed to portray that through more sexual scenes and stuff. At least, that was probably part of it.

reply

Yeah I noticed that. There are a lot more sexual references and also with Hayley and Sydney growing up a bit more there are more talks about sex, bras, boobs and periods.

reply

lots of sitcoms deal with that, but from day one, there was lots of "sexual references" due to Faith's relationships with men.

reply

I found the show to be incredibly lightweight in the sexual department, and would have loved much more of a focus on that type of stuff. But of course it was on broadcast tv so what else was to be expected.

reply

i agree, they play it like 5 times a day here, at all hours and never need to cut it, unlike other sitcoms like friends.

reply

they also cancelled it off the air, like this year or a few months ago. (U.S at least)

reply

Oh god! Boobs! God help us all!

HAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm actually 12 years old! But my mom, sister i watched it alot...and then my mom didn't really like me watching it because it got 'inapropriate'. (mainly becasue of hope...or faith...talking and making references about sex.

reply

What do you mean by in appropriate? I found this show to be very family oriented and though it did push the envelope slightly, I really can't think of anything done on the show that I would deem inappropriate.

reply

i just explained why. And it is not Family oriented....at least not for families with 1-13 year olds. (14 and up is a good age to watch it i think) and plus...this is just my opion.

reply

well im 14 and me and my sister (she's 10) watch it but i can understand why it might be inapropriate for younger people.

reply

Wildberry78, I side with your mother on this one. I'm 26yrs. old and I even got sick of all the sex talk. It's totally inappropriate for children under the age of at least 16yrs. old. It is not a family oriented show. And by the way these shows can be just as funny without all the sexual humor they've proved it time and time again.

reply

Yea. In the 1st season of Hope and Faith, it was the best, we looked forward to it every Friday. But then in 2nd season it started to show the other stuf that was very appropriate for families of all ages! I love this show, but it is not for every age.

reply

ah you poor poor thing the show was "too sexually orientated" for you, bless go say some more prayers.......................

reply

The episode where faith moves into the department store was overdone. It wasnt funny it just made me cringe. I didnt find other episodes that bad.

reply

^ Yah, I didn't like that episode either.

Drench youself in words unspoken, live your life with arms wide open...

uh, the girl said she's 12 YEARS OLD. you dont have to be so mean to her, jeez.
i can understand why younger viewers might not necessarily want to watch stuff like that.

So you're talking about how innapropriate a show is... on a website that you lied about your age on? IMDB requires users to be at least 13 to join.

reply

so this show was inapropriate bc of sexual references but here u are posting on a message board where people can write whatever they feel?...awesome parenting!!! this show was not even remotely offensive
