yes, i've seen the japanese version. i own both dvds that are out so far. i personally like kevin more than the japanese voice

I think the Japanese voice is better. It's not like I like it in English. I'm just saying.
shareI kinda liked Kevin Corn better, too. Maybe it was because he sounded younger to me, and I've always thought of Dai as a sort of youthful, innocent character. I liked Miyu Irino too, though.
shareI know Kevin personally actually. He goes to my high school and is 4th in our class. While we are more of acquaintances, i still find him to be a really nice guy. For those wondering what he looks like, i'll try to get a picture of him. Until then, I'll just tell you what he looks like: short red hair, parted in the middle, glasses, about 5'6'', kinda chubby but not really, and he has a bit of a dorky aura around him, but as I said earlier, he's a nice guy.

I have to agree. His voice acting was terrible to say the least. The guy’s line reads were forced and completely unbelievable, but then again, so were most of the other folks on the English cast of the show. The Japanese cast did much better, but then again, that’s not saying much.

Kevin's voice fits Daisuke better, I think, than his japanese voice. I think Greg's on the same level as Satoshi in the original.
As for Vic as Dark; he's good. I know the guy so, of course, I'm gonna say he's good. ^.^ But seriously; the seiyuu's just...it's weird. Daisuke's voice is too deep, Dark's is grating on my nerves.
But Kevin's not half bad. I'm sure if Aaron Dismuke might have done Daisuke, people would complain worse. (they complain enough since he was cast as Al in FMA)
