OK Satoshi...

the only possible evidence to Satoshi being gay is how he reacts toward Daisuke, but that's just because he's really good friends with him.

Besides in the last episode, us viewers saw that beautiful kiss with Daisuke and Riku, so I'd think.. and hope.. that they will stay together. Also in that episode, there seemed to be a Satoshi/Risa moment! you know, where satoshi looks at Risa and then risa looks at him.. and then they kinda blush and look away! yay!

PS, to any haters out there, I know that they aren't real, ok? I'm just really into the anime! :)

I agree with you Whatsifsowhatsit. Although there is no evidense that Satoshi likes girls, boys or both... I still like Satoshi and Daisuke. There's plenty of hints towards them and only two to support Satoshi and Risa (and one is slightly pathetic. The glances at the end and Risa with the white feather.)

As gay or not gay as he is in the Anime, there is ALOT of implications that he is during the course of the Manga. Atleast in volumes 1 - 10 :|

In the manga, it's hinted that Satoshi likes Daisuke as more than friends, but that is just a hint, nothing serious. Also in the manga AND the anime, Satoshi has a crush on Risa. As to Satoshi and Daisuke in the anime, I think there are definite hints that the two of them could HAVE the relationship - IF they both were actually gay. Especially the last episode, where Daisuke tackles Satoshi and screams at him "You can't! You can't!" That is the strongest hint I saw.

From what I personally know, the general attitude is that Satoshi is bisexual, but tends towards women, with his sexual interest in Daisuke stemming from his innate need to protect Daisuke (Satoshi is a tortured soul, and seemed to connect to Daisuke on a soulmate level because of their connected curse/fates).

Me personally, I don't care for Satoshi/Risa, but that's mainly because I just don't care for Risa. Even if she is becoming 'a lady' as Dark says, I still think she is too immature for Satoshi.

My inner fangirl goes SQUEEEEEE at Daisuke and Satoshi, but I don't think Daisuke has those types of feelings....so it's just an inner fangirl thing. :-)

i've only seen the first few of the anime,...
but i've read the manga up to ELEVEN...
and weighing up all the stuff, i think he's gay/bisexual.
i mean, come on, while he was going out with Risa in the manga he never payed a widge of attention to her. and he even fell asleep while next to her on the boat to the island in issue, um six i think it was.
whereas daisuke...satoshi even took him to his hotel room! i think that gives a hint.

even if daisuke was completely out of it at the time.

Okay,I knew Diasuke WASN'T Satoshi's trigger, but I thought that his trigger was Dark and I don't mean in a lovie kind of way, but it was Krad's hatered for Dark and his desire to capture him that would trigger the change? Oh, well, haven't read book 11, so I'll have to pick that up soon!
Oh, and for my personel comment I honestly don't think he is gay OR bi, I think he is full-on straight he just hadn't really had many friends in his life so he didn't know how to act towards Diasuke especially because at first he just wanted to use him to catch Dark, but then he actually became friends with him. And that scene on the beach was just his fun/ joking side coming through.
Diasuke and Riku are totally for each other!
I also personally think that the anime hints in other indirect ways that Satoshi is meant for Risa. I mean there are the 2 obvious hints (the end look, and the part were she wakes up on the bench and his jacket is drapped over her) but also, for instance her description of her "perfect guy" matches him, and remember her reacton when she saw him dressed as Dark for the school play? And what about when he held Krad back from hurting her and when Krad couldn't look into her eyes? (I'll have to look up the episode numbers but I will for any that want to know)
Maybe I shouldn't say it, but just to finish off my comment (please don't kill me) I think yoai and shonen ai and yuri and all that stuff is gross. It has no appeal to me whatso ever, so that maybe another reason I think Satoshi is not gay, because I started off with the hope he wasn't however reaseach has shown evidence that supports my theory (but I admit it is just a theory). Okay, that's my comments and I'm stickin' to'em!
