You finally have a good wholesome family show that doesn't have all the language that others shows have and that is actually funny and you go and cancel it. This was a feel good family show that a family could sit down and watch together. I am very dissapointed.

It made the family same psycho sure I know it was based on a real family, but my goodness I would go crazy if I married into a family like that.

shareAgain my friends and I watch TGIF every Friday and we all support the ratings but, if the show isn't good then we have no choice to admit that it is bad. Take, "Life with Bonnie," that show was so awful, but my friends I watched just for Mark Derwin because he left a soap opera to appear on that for a while. We knew, "Life with Bonnie," was awful but, we sat through it just to see Mark Derwin. Married to the Kellys was a show flat on jokes, the family was very scary if not very abnormal. My friends and I have never seen a family that would sit down to their dinner and sing the same stupid song about God and him being good to them. My goodness when the cast had to fake smilies through that all the time if you haven't noticed. This show was no where that good to even receive a laugh track. A laugh track is great when it is needed, but this show didn't even have any laughs where one could support that stupid points. My friends and I also don't know any PSYCHO family that would make a dog house with family members names and put them in there just to punish them as if they were a two year that didn't know any better. Face it the show sucked. It was awful the actors were't even that great. Even Breckin Meyer who played Tom, had taped better shows then this one. This was the worst use of Sam Anderson I have ever seen. He is a wonderful actor and the show gave him this aqful stuff to work with. If you don't agree with me about Sam Anderson I have seen his work since he did Perect Strangers in the 80's. Married to the Kellys was a show that needed much work and a lot of help. The show made it seem like anyone from Kansas was a complete idoit and weird. It's not ABC's fault that the show was cancelled it was due to poor ratings and the show needing work. Deal with it. I'm sure you'll forget about this show in years to come and will like some other show that comes along much much better.
shareUr right. this show in my opinion was hilarious. and don't even try to rip it apart (that's to anyone who hates the show) because i don't care what you thought of it. breckin meyer made me laugh to no end, and not to mention louis, and chris with mary. well, i am now sad that it's gone.

CBS also canceled The District! ABC,CBS and NBC all canceled many shows like Hack. Well i'm mad that they canceled this show and The Distric. CBS Canceled Two of my favorite shows: The District and The Agency! Well i guess these shows are made for "REALITY TV SHOWS" Reality tv sucks why don't they bring back all the shows that are canceled and cancel the Stupid and dumb reality tv shows like Who wants to marry my dad, For love or Money, etc. (these reality shows suck swamp water through a dirty straw!) maybe we should boycott all these shows and sign a petition to bring back the good wholsome shows. REALITY TV SHOWS SUCK BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Well, obviously everyone has a different opinion on television shows, that's why there are different types of shows. That's what makes the world go round. I thought this show was hillarious. As much as I like Kelly Ripa, I don't think Hope and Faith is that good. There's alot of overacting and exaggeration on Kelly's part.
I've seen alot of fuddy-duddy families like The Kelley's. And I've never even stepped foot in Kansas! They are everywhere. If you don't feel The Kelley's are believeable, look at half the families on TV today. Do you see families like Hope and Faiths? A perfect mom who won't stand up for herself and has her sexy, but washed up soap-opera star sister move in with her family? Think about it.
About Reality TV, I like most of it. Can't stand NBC's Reality Shows, but like CBS. So again, I like Reality and Comedy, however, someone might like Drama and Documentaries. That's why our cable comes equipped with 500 channels. Different strokes for different folks.
So sorry to see The Kelley's canceled!
Im guessing that Renlue is a very mature teen or an adult . I love the way that you have such versitality and state your opinion whithout offending anyone. I think that Married to the Kellys is a wonderful show. At least i get to see it every friday on TGIF on ABC and i happy. But i do wish that they will have a second season because Fridays when i get home from school at 8:30 i want to sit down and relax with my family and watch The Kellys.

I think it was a good move to cancel Life With Bonnie. I cna't believed that ran for two seasons ... I only like one of the episodes in season 1 but season 2 was just - -- boring ...
And I don't like "It's All Relatives." -- I think it was a bit trying to be Will & Grace -ish but it didn't really happen. It didn't get any high ratings and it isn't a show I like to talk about - it's ridiculous.
I like Hope & Faith. It's a really nice show that brings guilty pleasure ... but to be honest, it's sort of ridiculous.
Out of TGIF I really like George Lopez and of course, Married to the Kellys. it's a wonderful show and I love it. I like Breckin Meyers and the rest of the cast. I hope they bring Married to the Kellys back really soon. I like ABC - ABC has done really good moves - especially airing Married to the Kellys but cancelling it is a different story. They should definately keep it.
i honestly looked forward to married with the kelley's right after george lopez on friday nights. I'm disappointed to see that it is cancelled. I guess the good old shows of yester-year are never going to come back (growing pains, full house, perfect strangers, etc, etc, etc;). Those are all shows from abc i believe. They used to have all the good family sitcoms, but i guess no one wants to watch shows without swearing and sex anymore. I think the good thing about those older shows, and shows like married to the kelley's, is that, yeah they're a little corny, but they actually are funny; and their simple, feel-good plots are a nice change of pace from a busy work-week, and a nice change from the other crap that is on. It's a real disappointment!
