Breckin Meyer can't carry a sitcom.
Which is sad - because I LOVED this show.
"Don't call me 'honey', mac."
"Don't call me 'mac'... HONEY!"
I actually liked that he wasn't over-the-top with his character. It felt more believable than a lot of bigger-name actors who have louder personalities that sometimes override their characters. True, his approach probably was one of the reasons this series didn't carry over with the masses; but I think that he did a commendable job of making his character seem authentic.
