I Really Liked This Show

This was a good show. "Charming" as one tv critic put it.I think ABC should've put it on a different night. The ratings were not spectacular, but it did have a good following.ABC was too quick to yank it.

My wife and I loved this show. It reminds us of Adam 12 from the late '60's early 70's. Do to my work schedule I wasn't able to watch it Sunday nights, we always taped it and watched it on Mondays. ABC has the problem with pre-empting regular programs for their lack luster specials and when viewers drop off they wonder what happened. What happened is people get tired of looking for their special programs and give up on the network. ABC GET A CLUE!!!! BRING BACK 10-8!!!!!!

Hi leasley!!!
I agree completely!!! This show should've been given more of an opportunity to really get going good!!! The ratings were not the greatest, BUT
they weren't "bad," by any stretch of the imagination.

I think a different night perhaps in "Prime Time," would have made a big difference!!! There was nothing really "wrong" with the show as far as that goes, the acting was actually very good!!!

I can recall this show being "pre-empted" on several occaisions for
other "Special Programing" which I thought "stunk" quite frankly. It was almost as if this show was being "picked on" by the ABC Network's Management.

All I can say is being an ex-Police Officer myself, they had me "hooked" & I don't get that way too often. I think ABC was definately pre-
mature in "yanking" this one.

I thought this show was good too. Only if it was on a diffrent night, then it would've gotten better ratings. Man, why do the freakin' TV companies pull out the good show off air?

Hey jman72485!!!
Sometimes I find myself wondering what these Exec's are really thinking when they make a determination as to whether a Show is "cutting it" or not. To simply say "lack of ratings" is for the most part, a "copout".

There are so many "factors" that make a big difference, i.e. taking the show off the air because of some "stupid" special that the viewers had no say so as to whether or not they even want to watch it, thus taking away yet another opportunity for this show to reach more viewers which makes the ratings go up.

Anyway, I don't want to get on my "soapbox" again so I'll just have to accept the fact that they're just going to do what they do & there's nothing that we the viewers can do about it.

I think everyone needs to e-mail or write ABC and tell them how much we like this show. Unfortuantely, that is the only kind of thing network executives respond to.

Their info is as follows:

ABC, Inc.
500 S. Buena Vista Street
Burbank, CA 91521-4551
Phone number: (818) 460-7477

Hello jeff-herbert!!!
I think you're totally correct. Thank you for the Network Address & Phone Number. Now, I can get my "posse" to get on the "stick" & start e-mail &
writing those letters.
The more I think about this show, I can't help but think that the show was pre-destined to be cancelled. It's almost like they just used it as a "filler" until something else came along.

It's too bad that network politics has to rear it's ugly head. It seems that the people who are most impacted (The viewers), have no say in it at all.

Thanks Again,
