What happened to Indigo Nichols?

I remember seeing her in the pilot (and recognised her from "Buffy"), but after that one episode, her character ('Tisha Graves') was written out in favour of Christina Vidal/'Gabriela Lopez'. Was somebody writing to the show's designated locale (in this week's episode, Lopez mentioned that she grew up in that neighbourhood), or did Nichols find another project?

I have to add that I'm loving this show so far - it looks at police-work from a front-line perspective, but the tone is refreshingly light-hearted and makes a point of showing that patrol officers run into outlandish and hilarious stuff almost as frequently (if not more often) as they do life-or-death crises. Much as I like gritty procedurals in the mould of CSI, I was starting to get burned out on them all.

Looks like I've only got ten more eps to enjoy, though. >:( And since it didn't go a full season, a DVD release isn't likely any time soon....

I've always wondered that myself. WHere do you live where they show repeats of this show. This show inspired me to go into law enforcement, I wish it would have lasted, the ratings were good and I think it was #2 in its time slot.

The location is New Zealand - TV3's showing it Wednesday nights, 11:15p.m. Not the best slot, admittedly, but you takes what you gets. :P

Of course, with today's episode having been 1.08 'Gimme Shelter', we're halfway to the end.... :(

Enjoy it. It's a great show and inspired me to become a police officer.

And almost 4 years after having watched 10-8 I have become a police officer. Now that 10-8 is gone I watch Southland and Blue Bloods, they're no 10-8 but shows I respect. It's hard to find good cop shows, especially if you're a police officer.
