Missed opportunities!!

I always loved the games (Especially the second) and the whole world of Zone Of The Enders. All the ideas to do with dividing planets, Earth Vs Mars and the whole Metatron idea. But you can't help but feel that with Z.O.E (This film and the series) they missed a golden opportunity to bite the bullet and make a serious and powerful series or films.

You have all the incredients but I feel that in the end it was 'Robocop 3'ed' and dulled down for a younger audience.
