A question for those who've read the Alias release of the XIII comic

This will contain some spoilers.

Okay, recently I got the first three volumes of the comcat release of the XIII comic book (or as it was known when released in '89: Code XIII), and I came across the recent Alias release of XIII. So what I would like to know is where does the first issue of XIII end? Does it end after Martha dies and XIII goes off in search of Kim Rowland? Or earlier than that? Any help would be helpful.

In Volume One: Day Of The Black Sun, that happens like a third / half the way in..

I think the Alias version split up each actual issue into two issues. But the real 1st issue ends with Martha dying and then XIII going off in search of kim rowland, like you said.
