Why is it a 12+..... XIII fans answer!

Not that I care but the gore on it is quite alot for a 12 and there is swearing like f#ck and s#it etc. and lots of other stuff like the hiker in a snowman!
And not to mention the pin-up posters in a closet in the plain rock asylum, the nude ladies on!
Did anyone else get turned on by these pin-up posters?

~Half life fan~Why do we all have to wear these ridiculous ties?

reply

No, the posters are too blurry, but where do you live? In the U.S. it's rated M (17+).

It's rated 12+ in the UK.

"I wished Her back but the dead adored Her, Even wild winds sang in chora for Her"

i remember playing thru it a while back and being suprised it was a 12, not cos of violence but just because of the 'f-word' use - its not very common for it to be in a game, and usually the game is rated at like a 15 or something if it includes it... Never mind, nothing shocking as you get it in 12 films.

I suppose that as your allowed 2 swear words in a 2-3 hour film you can have more swear words in a much longer game.

McDonalds is the name of God on the lips and hearts of all fat people.

I know this is a very very late reply but oh well.

Where the hell did you get the game. I got the game in the UK and it's rated 16+ by PEGI. I only bought it today but I saw it with the same rating in 2006.

reply

My copy says 12+

Have we got ants then?

reply

My PS2 copy (that i bought in January 2004) Says 12+ too, i guess that PEGI was a lot less stricter back in those days, in fact, i'm pretty sure that today, the game would get a 16+ rating.
