I liked it and here why

The trailer is a little misleading I'll admit. Looks like The Thing.


The characters are all well played by everyone, including K.B. Her character is seddle, easy going inspite of being double crossed by partner years before.

The characters are likeable and you feel for them. The black actor playing the pilot doesn't have much dialogue but does very well with what he's given. He's also written very smart and smooth.

Pryce comes off at first as a possible suspect but i started to like how he became very cooperative with Carrie in finding the bad guy and helping her pull herself together after she nearly goes nuts over the loss of fingers. She needed to trust strangers again and I feel that he helped her with that.

My only complaint is the plot, the budget and the ending. It seemed a little confusing at times and needed to be seen a second time to be fresh on it. I do think they could've done more with a smaller budget and probably would've preventing it from flopping at the box office.

My problem with the ending was that it was way too easy for Tom Skeritt to just kill himself and the rest of them just stay down there for six months... I think the ending could've been better.

Other than that I really enjoyed this film and I praise the actors performances in it as the best thing in it.
