Production company Comments

Has anyone else (I doubt it since noone posts here on the boards for this) that the production company is quite obviously posting positive comments in the User Comments section?

I posted with some comments and not very long afterwards, there was a glowing comment posted answering many of the items I and others brought up. Many of the glowing reviews are from foreign countries as well...I highly doubt this movie has an international distribution.

I am 100% certain that there is no way someone without inside information could have answered some of them...

Just read the comments by posting date and you will see what I mean...

This film has obviously polarized viewers, but I don't believe there is any need for a conspiracy theory. The film has just been released on DVD internationally and perhaps a new audience has emerged. I personally love the films visual language, its meditative pace, and the musical and visual collaboration.I have also aquired the music soundtrack.

As for the answers to your "questions"...I think anyone who is prepared to watch and pay attention to the film would know who Glim and Sarin were. It's an Indi film, made on a $1.95 budget, featuring friends and crew to fill in the acting parts! Really, what were you expecting.....Ben Hur?

Surprisingly enough, Westender HAS some international distribution. Don't know about other countries but in Russia the DVD can be bought at least in the most Internet DVD stores. In my case, I got the disc as a bonus when bought a notebook.

The film also is available (or at least was for quite awhile) as a rental at Blockbuster. And yes it got international distribution, after winning awards at film festivals it got picked up by one of the major companies for a distribution deal.

The film has it's script issues, but it is well acted and beautifully filmed showcasing the varied landscape of Oregon.

And just so no one jumps on me. I was one of the stuntmen.
