Favorite scene

That's my favorite scene too! It really moved me, mostly the way it was done, with the music playing while she was moving backwards towards Denny, as if quietly asking for his embrace. It was a very eloquent manner of showing her being vulnerable and needing affection, even if she presented herself as such a hard, angry b!tc#.

The other scene I really loved was Denny plopping himself between Terry and the girls at the table as if he was determined to be a part of that family.

I found Denny's charcater very endearing, even at the beginning, when he did all that booze and pot. One could feel that deep down he was a gentle soul and a really decent guy who just lost his purpose for a while.

I KNOW!!!! i just LOVED that part, along with the door kicking, and I love the recepetion, when denny drags terry onto the dance floor. i LOVE this movie!!

Totally agree with you! One of the best scenes I've ever seen, actually!

My favourite scenes are with the mother & daughters. Although Joan and Kevin are awsome individually, I found they lacked chemistry. The girls' scenes carried this movie. I loved the scene when Terry freaks over Hedley's engagement "Oh no, I'm done toasting, I'm just ordering another drink!" LMFAO

Another one I laughed at was when Andy broke it off with Shep and the other guys were pretending not to be listening in on the conversation.
"Is it because I'm quick, or whatever it is you're saying? Because I'm tired, but basically the sex is good right?"
"I don't know, I guess."
"You guess? You make a lot of odd sounds for someone who guesses"
"I guess I've just gotten good at faking it."

How could I forget about Terry slapping Shep around? OMG his hair looked so funny! Great movie. Good job, Sheppy/Mike!

Mine is when Emily gets really mad at her mum, goes outside and tries to cool off with some ballet *Lovely twirl*...No that didnt work

I particularly like the scene where Danny is with Popeye, her friend Gordon and his dad and he says " I'm a watcher too". I like the way she looks at him after that... Is just a detail but I liked it.

I sign that. That actually brought tears in my eyes. A great film it is...
