A Gojoseon Korean using a Samurai Sword WTF!!!??

Ok it's not even 200 B.C. yet, The Korean Gojoseon Dynasty is still proto-IRON AGE; and this Korean guy is weilding a Stainless-Steel Japanese Katana in the beginning of the film, attacking the Qin convoy to get his betrothed girl back?!? :O :S

I remember I was like WTF?! when I first watched this film; come on, it's like Qin dynasty (at least before 200 B.C.) and the first Katana sword didn't appear until the end of 14th century lol; not to mention it was JAPANESE, not KOREAN :P.

There's just no way round it; if you take it as the older Taichi sword (the predecessor and precursor to the Katana); You'll still have to wait till the 8th Century! LOL

It only gets more ridiculous when he was using it to duel with Jackie Chan's
Qin dynasty vintage Bronze sword side-by-side.lol

I mean,what were they thinking?! :S It pretty much ruined it for me, it just felt so corny; adding to the state-of-the-art CGI and all the rest of it lol.
Sure, it's a beauty, but why does everyone have to throw the samurai sword in everything?! lol :S

Lol, the abacus is just another tool for calculation... it wasn't even used later in the west. As for Gunpowder,, it was an accidental discovery by a enunich who wanted to cook up some 'forever young' pill for the King. Besides modern guns don't use the type of powder the Chinese used.. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA Kung Fu, is merely another form of fighting. Brazilians have their own martial arts, and so did the middle east. Different cultures had different means of fighting. :))) so yes, 4000 years of history but howcome no cars, airplane, computers and all the great inventions of today? hmmmmmm hehehehe

here where I live there are over 1+ Billion Chinese. Not everyone think to same or beat to the same tune, as you white ppl would say. MILLIONS of Chinese including, many of my family members, relatives, and friends were killed by Chinese communist during revolution & protests.. Have you read about this week news -- Tienanmen Massacre? look it up. Oppression still is alive and well, and the Chinese culprits has yet to apologize to the people.. I guess that's why I am bitter. I like Chinese myself, but I am against those who kill their own, that is the cause I'm fighting for.. you can say I'm racist against my own race, but I know what I am, & No one can change that. :)

As a Chinese I'm so ashamed that most Chinese driving cars created by our rapist - Japanese Toyota.. and Honda. HOW SHAMEFUL!!! We have seem to forgetten they killed millions of Chinese people in their conquest of Beijing and Shanghai. The NEXT ASIAN WAR: China vs Japan & South Korea.. Chinese civilization had no contact with ancient Egypt, therefore, they invented it on their own and didn't steal it.

The type of gunpowder invented by the Chinese, black powder, was indeed the gunpowder used by the West for hundreds of years. Modern smokeless powder was not invented until the late 19th century. That's the "1800's" for you historically illiterate out there.
