I heard on an interview or something, where Jackie said he wouldn't do any English dubbing on the movie, because the movie has the internation fell to it and dubbing it would take away from the movie.

I totally agree with him and enjoy watching it subtitled. And there are some english speaking scenes.

okay, i just watched this film, it was pretty annoying, i know cantonese and english, but the film has four languages, english, cantonese, mandarin and an indian dialect, how the heck is anyone meant to understand all four to watch the film without subtitles!

Your supposed to watch it with subtitles dummy. You buy the dvd and when you watch it TADA!, subtitles appear on the screen. Its not rocket science here.

I am watching the Indian DVD at the moment and it has an English dub option. However, I would have much preferred subtitles and the original language tracks, especially since either the DVD's or my hotel room's 5.1 set-up is screwed up beyond belief. The dialogue is too muted and the soundtrack and sound effects kick in way too loud.

The Indian DVD has a DUB?!?!?! I have the Taiwanese Release with English subs. I like it, possibly Jackie's best film.

a US distributor is creating a major release in USA and Canada mid-2007 with an amazing English dubbed version with Jackie's actual voice...the film really rocks on the big screen! Worth the wait to see the proper official American Version. I heard there were tons of additional bonus features planned for the DVD.... The Indian version does not have Jackie's voice in the dub.....I think this is his best film so far.....

On Jackies official site in the scrapbook there are pictures of him dubbing The Myth for a future release.

The Myth is being released by Sony all across North America in a great English dub where Jackie's own voice was used. You can pick it up at any major retailer or by renting at Blockbuster or any of the chains including Netflix. The movie was cut down to 96 minutes in order to make it a PG-13, and a family friendly adventure film for the holidays....I loved the film and thought it was fantastic!
