How did the Dasar prince and Meng Yi exchange swords, when Meng Yi fought with it until he was decapitated?

Why did the mausoleum collapse when William didn't take the dragon pearls. I know the yellow stone breaks, but that's not the dragon pearl is it? If nothing was supposed to be broken or stolen, then why didn't it collapse when General Nongong cuts Jack's staff intos pieces, or when he imaples the statue with his sword when Jack evades it?

The first question is a good one. Ain't got an answer for that. And depending on the version you watch it's either a pill of longevity or an elixer of long-life. What's that about?

Im assuming that that king of Dasar was the Indian man presented in the flashback.
They probably exchanged swords out of respect for each other.
