What happens to some of the characters after the end of the movie?

Like Dean Whiting, especially after Barnes threat if something were to happen to him, which did (though dont know what Barnes could do after his demise). And others like Barnes son, or some of the other fathers in the movie?

Good movie by the way, my favorite theme of the movie was fathers and their relationships with their sons especially Bennett Holliday caring for his father, excellent ending!
