One of the best bad movies I've seen in a long time

As a connoisseur of terrible movies, I loved this one. It had the perfect set up...criminals that you hated plus one good looking bad guy...lou diamond phillips and buffy....the ridiculous set up of the environmental issues...the fresh water shark with the insaciable appetite...the stupid title...it was a series of the most amazing cliches.

This movie should be appreciated as a fine work of terrible art at the top of the B list. It would never pass muster as an actual movie--but watching it on TNT in a/c on 100 degree day? you can't beat that with a belt (shameless Pooty Tang reference)! For those who haven't seen it, but may, just go in with a couple of your best friends and really enjoy every obvious facet of this shark movie.

It really is a good pop corn movie.
