Does anyone know where you can purchase the "The Red Baron" (Extended Cut) (DVD region one) which contains about 20 min. more footage than the currently available 106 min. film released on June 1?

What about those stupid French Subtitiles ? my dvd player wont delete them? anyone know why? is there a dvd out there with outthem?

You should select NON after selecting SUBTITLES.

I'm ordering the original German version from Amazon.de and it's listed at 129 minutes.

I didn't know there was an extended version. Do they actually show the final dogfight scene in it? I'm can't believe they skip forward two weeks instead of showing us what you knew was supposed to be coming the entire film.....

the 129 minute version doesn't show the final dogfight. Besides, we only have Brown's word about how it went down, and some other facts were in error about that day, such as his younger brother was not there. He was in hospital.

Von Ricthofen & Brown,despite inaccuracies,is still far better than this.

I'm inclined to agree...

Despite the cgi, the earlier film was MUCH better.

....and John Philip Law made a very convincing von Richthofen!! (Despite his excessive height.)
