Don't ask about the dialogues! They are the most clichee-dialogues of all time. ("He needs a doctor!" - "He needs a priest.")

Lovely dialogue indeed.

So very true to the period- with LIEUTENANT Voss casually adressing CAPTAIN von Richthofen with "scumbag/s.o.b." in front of half a dozen officers, and the Kaiser talking some bastardized 17th century style-German:(directly adressing Richthofen) "I could think he will be idolized by the young ladies"
Richthofen himself is not much better, though, directly adressing the Kaiser "Ihre Majestät".

And let's not forget that lovely franco-belgian accent they gave the nurse. Did Lena Headey actually use one for the original English shooting?

Last but not least, von Richthofen telling the nurse that he has dreamt of soaring through the sky in an aeroplane since he was a little boy. And he gets a hug from daddy while on leave...

The acting might not even be bad, (I'm very much looking foreward to seeing more of 45 year old Til Schweiger impersonating a not yet 20 year old Werner Voss) but the entire trailer just reeks of a sappy love story about a sensitive, troubled, misled young man.

What a bloody hoax!

Anyway, thanks for sharing it invincible!

I had started wondering if they'd ever manage to get a trailer out at all.

I'll just hope the dogfights will be a little more realistic than the rest of this "epic" now.

cgi is crap, story is crap, look is crap, acting is crap. looks even worse than flyboys [ok, i take that back, it can't be worse than that, could it?]. i just lost my hopes. looks more like a two part tv-production than a serious movie. and thats where i will watch it, on tv.
