So the Kid got it. but was it offscreen? SPOILER!

from DreadCentral:
The movie has one of the best kills I’ve seen in a monster movie in quite awhile and it happens to a character that you don’t think is going to get killed, especially in such a brutal fashion. If you’ve seen the movie on the Sci-Fi Channel then you have not seen this kill. The wonderful censors over at Sci-Fi decided that seeing a kid getting his head bit off by a monster crocodile was just too much so they completely did away with the scene, leaving the audience unaware that the kid has even been killed until later in the movie.
With any luck, one day we will get an actual DVD release of the uncut Dinocroc and not be forced to rely on that network’s edited version that’s overloaded with intrusive commercial breaks that stifle the breezy pacing of the flick.

So can anyone tll me if the dvd reinstates this?

Cheers

That was better than anything else in the movie! Stupid SyFy!

I think it was a very cheesy beheading, althought it wasn't to the character you wanted it to be to but it was cheesy, to me the head didn't look realistic

HAhaha!!

Funniest thing I've seen in a looong time...

i think its funny that the film makers allowed the special effect guys to get away with that i mean if you freeze frame it the snout of the crocadile started inside the wood then as it moved up the wood cracked lol and the the fake head was just hard to watch thats how bad it was.

its strange haveing a mutated version of yourself,i wonder if this is how parents feel

Well, I really loved that scene. Not because of the brutal end of that kid, but the acting by that kid was just amazing in that scene. While this movie is not a movie to check how good their graphics are, they still got my frightening each time I see this scene. Just like in wannabe episode in without a trace, Jake Thomas did an amazing job in this movie, even when he was not on screen that much.

Cutting the final bit of that scene was annoyingly distracting. I spent until the kid's brother fell asleep in his bed waiting for the kid to show up behind them.

98% of all plotholes can be explained by careful observation and a little imagination.
