I thought this was a great movie too. It was funny and original. I liked the different filming and all. A lot of humor!

reply

this movie was fu**ing hilarious. its the best low budget movie i've ever seen!!

reply

I had planned to see it and got caught up in a good X-Files episode (where a blind girl sees a killer's escapades and is accused of the crime) so all I got to see was the end with the lips in the ground saying it'll never die and the guy with just a torso complaining it can't be the end because he was gonna *beep* his sister - ROFL,
Just that bit of weirdness makes me wanna see it - particularly interesting was the torso looked realistic enough, but ya see the carpet move as he's moving but ya can't really tell where he ends and the latex begins - good job.

i love the velcro scenes those are hilarious.

I really enjoyed it. LOVE horror and LOVE comedy!

-This can't be the end, I haven't *beep* my sister yet!!!! -or something like that! lol

This film is like an annoying child that will do just about anything to get some attention. If this mess had a decent director and cast and music composer it might have been average. FAIL.

reply

I thought the direction was okay. The director realized he wasn't exactly working with Citizen Kane here and had some fun with it. I'm not a fan of horror movies at all, but I caught this the other night on SciFi and was cracking up at it. Was it stupid, over the top, and way too in-your-face? Absolutely, but it was funny in doing so, IMO.

reply

>It was funny and original

Original?!? There wasn't an original moment in the movie!

Funny? Yeah, if you've only seen two or three movies your whole life!

I can't believe the crap people praise here!

You want funny horror? Watch "Shaun of the Dead" and "Dead Alive" and then come back here and tell me again how good "Monster Man" was. I dare you.

reply

I loved this movie! I saw it for the first time last night and I loved it. It was funny, as well as kinda freaky. Anyway, I give this movie 9.5 outta 10!

Seen them both. 'Shaun of the Dead' made me laugh a lot the first time; not so much afterwards, and 'Dead Alive' only has the baby scene being funny. They're decent films, but 'Monster Man' is much, MUCH funnier.

reply

I saw this movie some time ago. But I loved it. It was soooo funny!

reply

I thought this was alright. I wasn't sure it was a comedy when I was first watching it, but I got the idea. Some parts were so over-the-top that I couldn't help laughing. This was better than "Scary Movie". I'd say this is just as funny as "Shaun of the Dead".

i thought i was awesome

i was at hollywood video a few hours ago and they had some used copies of it for five bucks

since i hadnt seen it yet and i have a slight obsession with really bad horror movies, i decided to grab it

i was expecting something terrible with really bad effects and horribly written dialogue

and although some of the dialogue is rather silly, i thought the movie was ingenious, but i also had insanely low expectations before watching it which probably helped

reply

I bursted out laughin when he ran over the monster man all night

reply

This was an absolutely hilariously bad movie. Saw it on Sci-Fi channel last night. I wasn't sure whether or not it was trying to be serious horror movie. I laughed so hard at the last part, with the pile of gore's lips moving and saying "You can't kill me, wussies...". This is definitely a "so bad, it's good" movie.

A-holes, thats all i have to say, A-holes

HHAHAHAHAHHA, caught the joke....

I picked it off of amazon, not bad, certainly better than some of the major releases we've seen lately...

Personally, how could anyone not reference Yoda? Seriously, how the hell can you not laugh at the sheer stupidity of that scene....

Ha ha! This film was awesome. I put it on expecting to be mildly grossed out but found myself nearly wetting my underwear (and the immidiate surroundings) because it was so freaking hilarious!

I loved the part when they were fighting but it was just completely ridiculous and Harley was like, "Quit, Adam, quit... or else I'll fart on you. You know I will". I was quite literally laughing my ass off at that part.

And the roadkill in the hotel room.

And "I'm gonna get you"

R O S E B U D

And "You just got your ass kicked... BY A GIRL!"

I'M WIGGLING!

And the scene where Adam's running over the guy and then all of a sudden it's morning

And when she had to take his virginity. Four times... just to be sure

And "You. Are. Next... 'least that's what it says on your 'hood"

Well, damn. Too many good parts. Looks as thought I'm going to have to watch this again...

You think you know. You don't. I do.

I *love* this movie, but the spot of "funniest horror movie" on my list was taken by 'Slither' meanwhile, with this one coming as a strong second. :)

reply

anyone know when it's gonna be on tv again...it's almost funnier with the bad edits lol

it was *beep* stupid.

It was so bad I couldn't even be bothered to laugh at this piece of crap. If it weren't for my trusty pint of beer, I would've turned it off and gone to bed.

reply

cheap, but better than i expected.but way better than crap like amry of darkness or jeepers creepers.

reply

Never thought I'd see a film featuring a Yoda impression during a sex scene, lmao

reply
