Boss Survival
One guard catchin' you doesn't automatically get all guards on you
Shootin' legs and arms have a real effect on guards
Faster way to do the card thing (Spoiler)
Obviously better graphics
More cutscenes

The original Metal Gear Solid was better than this one still

How can they have superior voice acting in the original when they have the exact same cast for this game and basically the same lines? I think nostalgia may make the past game seem better.

Same cast doesn't equal same results (especially six years later). Some of the voice acting is better, while other performances were worse (Jennifer Hale's turn as Naomi is worse than both the original game and MGS4).

I read somewhere that originally they were only going to rehire David Hayter, who made a deal where he forfeited half his salary and the rest of the cast would get brought back, but at a low wage (and voice acting doesn't pay too well to begin with).

The sound qualaty of the original game is said to be so bad that when cleaned up on gamecube you could hear all sort of things in the background, that's why they re-recorded it.

All work and no fun makes Rest a dull boy.

the cutscenes did make snake seem more badass
but i didn't like first person mode.

I haven't seen all of "Twin Snakes" but I really miss the way Snake first see's Psycho Mantis. That scene and the way it was shot was brilliant in the original.

The original PS1 version is far superior Twin Snakes is decent enough and the closest still of HD transfer

In Southeast Asia we'd call this kind of thing bad karma.
