Hey Legacy of Kain game bums,Let's go to the Movies!

So you vampire fans like this game it has been quite a 4:3 screen adventure, but have you ever been jealous of the other video games that have been made into movies? Of all of the great technology that has been used for films such as "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy I think with such a fabulous storyline that "The Legacy of Kain" has we would have our future movie adventure to look forward to.I admit my jealousy for the "Tomb Raider" movies cause there has never been talk of Kain being made as a movie. I think that the first Blood Omen game should inspire the first installment of the initial movie, but there would have to be alot of spaces that need filling in to have decent continuity to ensure a smooth story to the film. For example Let's see the coruption of the Circle of the Nine and Vorador's invasion of the oligarchy, then we would see Kain born as a human baby and breif scenes of him growing into a man to become a warrior then of course one rainy night he mosies into the quaint tavern and orders his mug of ale and is refused due to the barkeeper saying that he stays open for no man in these dark times and Kain leaves the bar. Kain gets suspicious that he is being watched and is ambushed by thugs pulls out his noblemans sword and cries "Vae Victous" but when he's to cocky with his cry he's unaware being distracted by thugs in front of him that there is a sniper in the bushes somewhere behind him and with a crossbow shoot's Kain in the back a few times. The thugs have him now and exact his murder. And between then and until Mortainious finds him I do not know what would lead up to Mortainious resurrecting Kain with Janos's Heart of Darkness and of course our Vampire warrior will make his destiny and a Legacy for the Big Screen. Something has to be done!

Thanks for replying to my idea, I far from even making this dream becoming a film production, but don't you really think that it is so inspirational to make a film? I think if they were to make it animated they should do what they did with Andy Serkis's Gollum/Smeagol to have realistic movements and a more real to life look like Jar Jar Binks and Smeagol, but the Sceanery dosen't have to be fake to. I think it should have an LOTR effect in the graphics because the settings are so similar. Actually I take my way it should begin back I think that the story should start in Kain's far future I don't know when but it should start by him narrating in retrospect about he past reguarding his humanity and him as a fledgling Vampire. How to fit Voradors invasion of the Circle would fit in the begining of the story beats the hell outta me. How would we be able to petition for a film to be made anyway?

This is one of my favorite games. I was thinking the same thing after I played Defiance. It would make a terrific movie. There is so much story to put together, it has all the great makings of an awsome movie. I personally would like to see both Kain and Raziel's story. I liked Raziels end of the story better, but to show both sides of the story could turn it into a LOTR like trilogy.
I just hope and pray that if anyone ever did decide to do it, that they don't butcher it and turn it into a friggin' cliche vampire CrapFest. No more "Dracula 2000", or "Queen of the Damned". It's unfortunate that some stories that seem to be a good idea at first, get wrecked so easily when someone gets hold of it and doesn't know what they're doing. This story has so much potential.

IF this series is made into a movie, It would HAVE to be animated or CG'ed... because anyone who does Kain's or Raziels voice who aren't from the games will be wrong on sooooo many levels... Simon is PERFECT as Kain and to replace him would be a sin.

To get rid of Simon would be a sin. Also Michael Bell is something like in his late 50' to mid 60's. No way could he pull off Raziel. However, if it were live action, I'm sure that Simon wouldn't have too much trouble, and if they do need someone to play Raziel, it probobly won't be too much a big deal cuz we never really see his whole face. So, really Michael could still do his voice and they could get a fit actor to play him.

I agree with who ever said this should be a "CGI movie". Not only for the reason that the voices are a big role but also for the fact they can be a little more creative with it. I have been posting up @ the message boards of The Ring twO and there re some people that have noticed alot of CGI action for that movie. If they were to have this as a movie it would have to be CGI.
