ANY WORD ON THE NEXT INSTALLMENT?
Does anyone when what will become of LOK, I havent heared anything about a sequel for a while now and im starting to get worried........
shareas sad as it is to say, amy henning (who did the storys for soul reavers 1 and 2 and defiance) is no longer with crystal dynamics, so any other games of the GREAT Legacy of Kain series is not looking very bright... :-(

Chances don't look too good for a sequel, but honestly I think Defiance provides a satisfying conclusion. We may not see what happens next but we know Kain will now restore the Pillars and save Nosgoth at last.
shareI seriously doubt we'll see a new LoK game for a long time, but I don't think that all hope is lost. The series lasted for five games, so it obviously had to make Eidos/Chrystal Dynamics/Silicon Knights a decent amount of money. It may not be the most well regarded IP, but it's still a pretty well known IP. It seems nowadays, that's about all you need to get another sequel. Then again, I thought we would've seen Killer Instinct 3 several years ago, so what do I know...
Either way though, it'll probably be a few more years before we see another LoK game, but who knows, maybe they'll try to relaunch the series on next gen platforms. Ya never know.
