I have to say, the only LoK storyline I could see working well in a live-action film would be the original Blood Omen - no squid, no chinless blue wraith, less mess. Even then, I find it hard to think of actors I'd really want to see play the parts as much as I'd like to see a well made CG film, especially since a game series that is well-known for it's excellent voice-acting (and particularly that of Simon Templeman and Michael Bell) would make a film that was at a severe loss without it - and a full-length CG film that looked like the intro FMVs to the Soul Reaver games would quite simply kick butt.

I guess, if I had to think of actors for a live-action flick, Simon Templeman could very easily play Kain in a Blood Omen film. He certainly looks the part anyway. Kate Beckinsale could be Ariel. Not a huge part, but certainly an integral one. Beyond that, I'd really have no idea.

I'd like to hope that the music would stay very similar, also, even if that's a bit unrealistic. Ideally, I'd love it if Kurt Harland was still in charge of that department. Heck, they have to, at least, have Ozar Midrashim in there somewhere. *grinz*

Does Anyone else think that Luke Goss in Hellboy 2 has a bit of a look of Kain?

he does kinda resemble Kain, the blood omen 2 Kain anyways.

I think Simon Templeton looks enough like Kain, with makeup of course to reprise his role in a live action movie as Kain

If they do make a Blood Omen movie, I'd suggest getting an actor who isn't a young twenty something pretty boy. For one thing, Kain is in his thirties and if you really look at him in Blood Omen, he isn't very attractive. I do think Luke Goss can do it if he's willing to have some prosthetics added to downplay his looks (and if Blade two is any indication, he just might.)
