Vorador is a hoss.

Vorador is a hoss, like I said. Also, did he bulk up for defiance? Seems much skinnier in Blood Omen 2?

reply

no idea what the heck a "hoss" is, but he appeared long before BO2, and Defiance takes place before that game, so no. If anything, he toned himself down in BO2...and technically he shouldn't even be in that game, but whatever.

reply

BO2 is like Highlander 2. It just runs off on its own story and makes stuff up as it goes. Maybe they'll make a 6th game and we can have the final questions answered

reply

Many, many of the questions are answered in Defiance.

reply

if im not mistaken techincally Blood Omen 2 does not happen until after Legacy of Kain 2 cause after kain pulls out the reaver a paradox is created thus changing the past which is why VOrador is still alive

reply

Blood Omen 2 does happen after Soul Reaver 2 but it doesn't change Voradors fate. At the end of Defiance Mobius is seen to have caught Vorador as he did in Blood Omen despite Kain and Raziel's efforts.

Whatever reasons there are for Vorador's resurrection (and i read an interview with Amy Henning - the series director - who said that there categorically was an explanation which would be covered in future games) we will likely never now because of poor sales. Shame, i really wanted to know :(

I'm pretty sure that's how ALL the Highlander sequels were.

If con is the opposite of pro, wouldn't congress be the opposite of progress?

reply

his return was supposed to be explained in Defiance but they never really did it i think for time constraints

reply

I always just thought it was because after Kain pulled out the Reaver he changed the past, guess not

reply

That event only changed a few elements of Nosgoths timeline, Vorador was still killed. I'm sure though there was a way to bring him back with little trouble, afterall Janos was brought back after a long time of being "dead". Add to that the vampires you see in Soul Reaver, they took quite unique ways to deal with.

Still a shame they never put in the explanation for his return, it would have been interesting to see what that was.
