If you want to watch an entertaining movie, rent it. "Wild Things 2" was enjoyable to watch. Susan Ward is excellent!

It really depends on opinion and what you like.
Nearly all the reviews and other opinions (like user comments on IMDB) have been very negative. Most of the opinions on this board and other boards from Susan Ward or Leila Arcieri fans, have been positive. So if you're a fan of either actress, you will probably love it. Susan Ward plays the same type of bitchy villain she played in The In Crowd, but you don't know she is the villain until near the end, so for most of the movie she is much more subdued and sad. Leila is more like the trashy character Neve Cambell played, she seems to have a lot of fun with her part. Both girls look great and wear a lot of revealing clothes, but both look far older than their characters' age, 17.

The script is a carbon copy of the original, with a different set of twists. In the original, they tried to get the rich girl's mother's money by faking a rape claim; here, they try to get the rich girl's father's money by faking his death and claiming to be his daughter. The format and structure of the movie is the same: The opening scene in the school auditorium, the trial scene, the 'rich bitch' trying to attack the 'poor white trash girl' in the courtroom, the girl getting the money immediately followed by a threesome scene that reveals who is working together, one of the girls being murdered at the same time the other girl is revealed as the real villain, followed by her get away to a tropical island. Even a lot of lines are re-used. But some of what was re-used, doesn't make sense. In the first movie the two girls pretended to hate each other because their plan would only work if people believed that. Here, they pretend to hate each other simply to copy the original, there is no real reason.

It probably would have been better received if they hadn't called it 'Wild Things 2' because it has been unfavourably compared. There are lots of twists, but if you've seen the original you are expecting them, and the twists are not so suprising. If you've seen the original, it will probably be obvious who the villian is from the start, and some of the twists are a little cheesy (everyone who dies comes back is revealed to have fake their own deaths).

I thought it was enjoyable, a fairly generic thriller with some twists and turns, that's a little tongue in cheek, but it's probably only for people who are either fans of one of the actors, or people who love the kind of cheapie 'erotic thrillers' that air on cable.

The movie follows the original film's "everything you know is wrong" philosophy with its twists.

The problem, as mentioned above, is that the twists are exactly the same as in the first film!

Yes, this movie is worth watching, because...it's as good as Wildthings.
Susan Ward is excellent.Wild Things 2 is one of the best "thriller" movies.Just like the original.

Think about it! You'll get it!

WELL I THOUGHT WILD THINGS 3 WAS WAY BETTER.

ok wild things 2 and 3 were the EXACT same thing as the first one. exact same story line exact same twists. dont waste ur time if u already saw the first one cuz it's just like watching it over again with different actors and more like a porno...

LOL, like a porno? haha

It's on one of the Encore channels now, the original was good. This is not as good, very predictable.

Sex scenes are more graphic than the original.
