...totally competent and well-done fan fiction, but really has no point in existing as a legitimate installment to the Ginger Snaps story. I don't hate or have any contempt for this movie at all, don't get me wrong, I just don't know why it exists.
I do respect the effort and talent that went into making it, though.
i wondered why this 3rd movie in the gs series was a prequel. but at least Ginger and Brigitte got a happy ending

It’s THE START OF THE GINGER SNAPS STORY. All 3 films are connected. Why is this so freaking hard for you people to grasp? Hello! Reincarnation! Hello! The fate of having a bloodline cursed by your own refusal to undo the curse! Hello! Karma! It’s as clear as day; unless you watch werewolf movies without knowing Jack Squat about the arcane.
PS What happy ending? These sisters, who seemed to have murdered their parents and maybe other people, too (“We always run away. That’s what we do.”) end up cursed for eternity because of their insolence.
