The Only Scary Part

I'd have to agree that this movie wasn't very good at all. My friend and I are quite the horror movie fans, and we didn't admire anything about this film but the one part in the kitchen. The man sitting in the floor smiling with the green eyes. That even made the two of us squeak out a scream, something that I have never done with any other movie. Lol. As dumb as it sounds, that lightening scene where there is nothing there, and then... BAM! (smiley dude with green eyes), that scared the *beep* of out me.

I agree that scene was creepy, especially when he's crawling into the room after her when she's sitting in front of the door. It was definately a low budget film but it had potential, I think.

I watched this at a sleepover and we got soo scared at that point. We were screaming at the top of our lungs. No other part in that movie made us do that, but after that scene we were holding onto eachother for dear life if something else scary happened.

I really liked the movie, but I agree the kitchen scene is a real heart-stopper. It's so simply done, but I wasn't expecting it and were I that character, I'd have died a real quick death.

Yeah, I was watching it at work on my laptop (it was a slow day, and I work at at a courthouse.) With all the lights on and people in the next room, I yelled out loud. I never do that. That scared the crap out of me. The rest of the movie was pretty lame after that, but oh my gosh that was freaking SCARY.

I agree, that was the only scary part in the movie, and it was well done. I did jump when this happened. It really was creepy.

the movie was pretty bad acting but some of the parts could be really scary.... i agree the kitchen scene was the scariest ... i watch a lot of scary movies and thats the only scene that has ever made me scream!!!

I don't usually get scared by horror movies... at least, not the "HoLY &%!@#" type of scare.

There were two scenes in this movie that scared me like this. One was when the body has been moved, and he kinda comes out from behind- I was expecting it but it made me jump.

But the kitchen scene.... ooh, it shall live on in infamy. I never ONCE expected that guy to be sitting next to her. It scared the heck out of me. I personally think those kinda of scares are kinda cheap shots- if a movie can scare me without anything umping out (Misery, for example) then it's good. But I let my guard down momentarily after that first scare and then the guy's suddenly back and I was practically on the ceiling.

Too bad the rest of it really sucked.

Yes, definitely the best part of the movie. The rest was moderately enjoyable ... but not scary. The kitchen scene was creepy as hell.
