without bashing other movies delving into similar topics (what the bleep, etc) this movie is highly underrated. as a philosophy major, i am highly skeptical of movies about this subject, but for ANYONE who hasn't seen this, get it.

Agreed. I first encountered Denial of Death four or five years ago and it made quite an impression. Flight from Death does a very good job of covering its most important points in a small amount of time and adds some new angles. It's an excellent introduction to Becker's books.
