LATEST NEWS ON DW5 HERE!!!
I searched the net a couple of days ago and landed on a Japanese website on Dynasty Warriors 5! Believe it or not Koei is making the game and it is comming out in March this year! Can't wait to get the game. But it will be like in the 20s of March. We have like two months to go till we get this great game. Anyways Koei are making this game as last series on Playstation 2. If there is going to be a six series it will come out on the Playstation 3. Okay lets get to the good part shall we.
Improvements-
The fog that is so annoying in parts 3 and 4 are going to be removed. You will be able to see the castles and mountains and landscapes of the battlefeild clearly. Check out the screen shots.
Another thing is the new characters. Right now I only know two new ones. Cao Pi of course the son of Cao Cao. Cao Pi married Zhang Zi if you guys don't know. They fought along side with Cao Cao. Cao Pi seem to be a well known character because his scene always shows up in the trailer. Cao Pi uses a two side sword. Well its hard to explain but you know how in Star Wars, Darth Mual's double red light saber where he could connect them, well Cao Pi's is like that but its not laser its steal, pretty cool huh? The next character I know is Xing Cai. The hot and beautiful lady of Shu. (Yes another to my Shu clan, the best clan I say, and my favorite, cant wait to play Xing Cai.) Anyways Xing Cai is the daughter of Zhang Fei. Xing Cai married Guan Ping who is the son of Guan Yu. You guys all know that Lie Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei sworn brother hood under the peach garden right? Anyways she will be using a long pike with a emense sheild. The sheild is bigger than Nu Wa's in part 3. It is exciting.
If you guys have played Dynasty Warriors 4: Empires, (a great game as well, I think its better than Halo, not Halo 2, but Halo) you guy should know about the strong hold and strategic moves in that game. This will be applied with DW5. But unlike cheap circles with flags like in Empires, in DW5 they are actual bases with walls. There will be three types of strong hold you can take over: Offense, Defense, and Supplies. So you have to take your troops and invade the enemies strong hold. Much more challenging and you will have to think according to plan. It wont just be another easy slash and go game.
Each character has their own unique story line and scenes and endings. Pretty cool huh. Yeah so this will varie on the character you choose. I always pick Shu because I think they're the best.
Their will be new combo evolutions for each character. Their musou will be upgraded. And they will have new moves.
Cannot wait for this game. March!!!. Yeah.
