DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN THIS WILL BE RELEASED ON DVD. THIS FILM LOOKS REALLY INTERESTING, BUT NO THEATER AROUND ME IS SHOWING THIS???? IS IT ALREADY OUT OF THE THEATERS TO SOON BE RELEASED, HOPEFULLY. SO IF SOMEONE COULD GIVE ME AN ANSWER THAT WOULD BE GREAT.

This amazing documentary has been released here in Australia in June this year. If you can get it,do so. You will not be let down. The sequence where a whale comes from below the scuba diver near a school of bait fish that other fish are feeding on and is nearly engulfed by the wahle has to be seen to be believed. It also has amazing footage of a diver amongst a huge school of sharks.
There is also amazing footage of deep sea fish and other creatures from the pitch black depths. I reckon this is the most amazing documentary in my collection. Coral Reefs, below the Arctic ice caps, the deepest dark depths, it has footage from all areas of our amazing planet and should be in every nature lover's collection.
The BBC showed it last night, what an amzaing documentary. I missed a couple of the bits you mention but was blown away by the photography. The Polar Bear taking on whales was quite something, and the Killer Whale attack on the young calf was genuinely heart-wrenching. Great stuff.
shareI don't know where you are from Flightman, but I already have the DVD in my collection since last december. It's a region 2 DVD (I'm from Belgium - Europe) and I guess that if it hasn't been released in the other regions yet, it will happen soon.
