anyone else think the name is a commercial thing.

does anybody out there think they purposely put the word 'matrix' in the title to reel in viewers. weneva i hear the word matrix my head turns so i think its just for advertising. i dont think i can stand any show with the word matrix in it. i constantly get thoughts of people saying things like "he's hacking the mainframe" etc.. judging by other people comments this wasn't a good show anyway.

You do realise that the word was used for centuries before March 31, 1999, right?

As I understand (Only about a month too late for this discussion), the President actually does read a daily report refered to as the Threat Matrix. But I agree, I can't help but hear the word "Matrix" and think someone's trying to sell me something.

We've met before, haven't we?
