Are they trying too hard with Jack?

I get it...Abby is leaving, Jennifer Esposito did not work out and they seem to be phasing Ducky out slowly so they need to ramp up the new character....but is anyone getting tired of how they are forcing this character who has a job/skillset this team has never needed before into every storyline? This team has done pretty well without a "forensic psychologist" for quite a while, but this season they can't seem to discover where the creamer is in the break room without running to Maria Bello for input.

VERY heavy handed and it makes the character unlikable in my opinion.

Agree, nothing against the actor but her character seems out of place and doesn't really fit in with the show. I think they just hired her so they would have at least 2 women on the show since Abby is leaving soon. I wonder why Reeves misses so many episodes now that he's a main character now.
